Endity Solutions participated in the M18 follow-up meeting of the COMIC project, held on March 7 at the facilities of our partner SOFITEC in Seville.

The conclusions of this meeting are encouraging, as significant progress has been made in the development of new technologies for integral and intelligent manufacturing of multi-material components (composites), with the implementation of a digital architecture.

/ About the project

The COMIC project promotes the research of new concepts of efficient manufacturing of multi-material components, based on the definition of a digital architecture that allows a flexible and intelligent manufacturing (through an integrated management of the data flow in the design, engineering and manufacturing phases) combined with the development of advanced manufacturing technologies.

Within this project, Endity is in charge of component quality monitoring, providing accurate defect data to enrich the digital manufacturing twin – through inspection by advanced ultrasonic techniques.
